PS Pure Priming Glow Essence – Review

PS (Primark/Penney’s) have an extensive makeup , skincare and brush range. My only issue with this is often as not once some products are released and sold out they don’t come back. I’m not sure if this is going to be one of those products or not, we’ll just have to wait and see.

Glow essence primer: I’m guessing that this is supposed to be a dupe for Farsali Unicorn Essence Skin Enhancing AntiOxidant Serum . A primer that gives glow to the skin. The Farsali is more like an oil , goes on a bit smoother and leaves the skin less tacky.

This is an extremely liquidy formula. It looks iridescent pink in the bottle but when it’s blended out on the skin it just leaves the iridescence behind.

The dropped on it isn’t great, it’s a very messy.

The product itself is extremely sweetly scented.

It applies smoothly enough. It leaves the skin feeling slightly tacky which I know some people like cause they feel it grips their foundation better. I’m not sure that I belong to that school of thought.

The skin itself looks quite shiny, a lot of the iridescence shows up. More so than the Farsali.

Overall I’m not too sure how I feel about this product. I’m worried that the intense scent will damage my skin in the long term. So for now I’ll use it sporadically and see how I get on.

Have you used this ? Do you like it or the Farsali for that matter?

  1. I actually saw Essence having the same product in limited edition, wanted to get it but thought I’ll never use it. I kinda feel like these are not really easy to use, I much prefer the normal creamy primer. Still for makeup lover this is such an interesting product to have. xx
