Empties no 14 (2018)

Today I am focusing on shower & skincare Empties.

Roger & Gallet Relaxing Shower Gel :

I do like these shower gels, the fragrance is never over powering and I never feel like I have a residue on my skin

Repurchase? : Yes

Sanctuary Spa White Lily & Damask Rose Body Scrub:

This is my absolute favourite scent from The Sanctuary, especially in the winter time. I will definitely be picking up more now that Boots have 3 for 2 Christmas sets.

Repurchase? : Yes

Sanctuary Spa Body Wash:

I also enjoy the original scent of this range. The scent always fills the bathroom and my skin always feels lovely afterwards.

Repurchase? : Yes

Head & Shoulders Anti Dandruff Shampoo:

This is a step up from Head & Shoulders normal range and I picked it up because I was having issues with my hair been both Flakey & oily! Like how is that even fair. So when I saw on the label that this was saying exactly what I was looking for I picked it up. This is my second one. It definitely works with the flakiness but the oiliness is only OK.  I used to only need to wash my hair twice a week but now I could do it every day.

If you can recommend something better, I’m all ears!!!

Repurchase? : Already have

Wilkinson Sword Intuition Sensitive Women’s Razor:

These are one of those razors that has a solid block of shaving cream on the top. I find these so handy for when I’m holidays. It makes life so easy and means I have to pack less. It’s still great at home but it shines on holidays.

Repurchase? : Yes

Garnier Body Intensive 7 Days Hydrating Lotion:

This is my Hubby’s absolute Favourite Body Lotion. Especially during the summer months. The aloe helps soothe his skin & helps keep his tan going for longer. He used to peel (even though I lathered him in sunscreen and he didn’t get burned) but this definitely eased it up.

Repurchase? : Yes

Nivea 4 in 1 Firming Body Oil:

I absolutely love this oil. I think this is my fourth one. It glides on & dries in so quickly in comparison to other oils. My skin feels soft and smooth. Although I can’t claim to have noticed any firming. The scent is subtle but nice.

Repurchase? : Already have!

Bondi Sands Gradual Tanning Milk:

This is another favourite. I’m more of a fan of gradual tanning than instant tan, I feel like less can go wrong and it typically looks a tad more natural. This one gives me a gorgeous colour that can be built on. It’s never once given me away, My only issue is the scent. The instant version is coconut scented which would be my preference, this is Cocoa Butter scented which is one of my least favourite scents but thankfully it’s not overpowering.

Repurchase? : Already have.

Sol De Janeiro Brazilian Bum Bum Cream:

The scent of this is absolutely DIVINE! The cream itself takes a while to sink in so it’s definitely a night cream for me. It has the slightest bit of iridescence in it which is gorgeous over a tan if you have time to let it sink in.

Repurchase?: Already Have.

Batiste Dry Shampoo:

I go through this like it’s going out of fashion. The small one is in blush which I found a bit overpowering.

I absolutely love the Bare, it’s so light in fragrance and is the one I will be buying again and again.

I find the best way to use this is the night before, that way it soaks up the oils and the white cast has more or less gone.

Repurchase?: Always do

CoLab (Ruth Crilly) :

I’m not a fan of this, it just didn’t soak up as much oil as the Batiste and my hair always felt tacky afterwards.

Repurchase? : No
