I finally managed to get together some empties and took a few pic’s in the beautiful sun we’ve been having.
Garnier Micellar Water :
I don’t think I’ll purchase this again. I much prefer the Bioderma original. I ended up using this for spot cleaning my brushes. My face always feels like there is something left on my skin afterwards.
Repurchase? No
No7 Soft & Soothed Gentle Toner:
I have gone through so many of these and continue to love it. It’s perfect for me for 1st thing in the morning. My skin always looks calm after using it. Helps with the redness that cleansing can cause my skin in the morning.
Repurchase? Already have.
La Cura Caviar Night Cream:
This is from Aldi or Lidl. I can never remember which. This was way too thick for me. I ended up using it as a foot cream at night before putting on cotton socks and as a result I have lovely soft feet for Flip Flop Season 😀.
Repurchase? No
Super Facialist by Una Brennan Vit C Brighten Sleep & Reveal Night Cream:
This was pleasant enough on my skin but I don’t feel that it did anything particularly special.
Repurchase? No
Garnier Miracle Night Cream:
This had the oddest consistency. Another one that was relegated to a foot cream.
Repurchase? No
La Roche-Posay Facial Sunscreen:
I didn’t like this. It piled under my makeup which was the whole reason I bought it so I used it up as regular sunscreen. Anyone who could recommend a great sunscreen for under makeup would be my best friend FOREVER!
Repurchase? No
Superdrug Vitamin E Moisture Boost Facial Serum:
You know you love a product when you’re reaching for a spatula to scrape out every last bit.
Repurchase? Yes
Vichy Quenching Mineral Mask:
I’ve went through about 4 of these little pots and quite like it. If feels quite hydrating. I don’t see any benefits beyond that use though.
Repurchase? I don’t think so
I might have to give that bioderma micellar water a try!! great post 🙂

Thank you. I’ve tried loads of different micellars including variations of the Bioderma but the original is my favorite.

I would recommend you Avon Sensitive SPF 50 for face, I love it. It’s so affordable and it works amazingly. I reviewed it if you want to know more about it. xx

Unfortunately Avon isn’t available in Ireland any more. Thanks for the rev though.

I have been using La Roche-Posay Anthelios invisible fresh mist spray. Its SPF 50 and is so light weight you can’t feel it on your skin at all. I apply under my foundation and it does not not affect my make-up at all 🙂 x

Hmmm I tried the Garnier mist last year and wasn’t confident that it actually did anything. But la roche posay is typically a better brand so I might give it a whirl. Thanks for the rec 👍

No problem 😊 I have pale skin and freckles so the minute I see the sun I burn but this has really protected me

I turn my facial products I don’t like into foot creams and scrubs too, so not to waste them.

omg! I thought i was the only one who wasn’t into Garnier’s micellar water- i was just not digging it! It just felt really bad (drying) and rough? after wiping the makeup away. Seeing that my skin can get quite dry at times, I agree with you that I won’t be repurchasing it anytime soon.
