I’m really enjoying focusing on using up products in my collection. It’s really helping me realise what I like & what I don’t. How long products take to use up etc. This particular post is going to focus on skincare.

PS Hydrating Avocado Sheet mask: I love these masks for a relaxing moisture boost. They don’t have any long term effects in my opinion but I don’t mind. They are prefect for a self care night or as a boost of moisture before doing make up for a night out.

Repurchase? – Already Have

Purederm Hyaluronic Acid Essence Mask: Got this as a gift from my friend & Neighbour Irene for my birthday. This is made differently in that it isn’t cotton but pulp and therefore is more efficient in delivering the skincare benefits. You have to be more gentle with it than the cotton version as it can tear easily. It left my skin feeling lovely and soft & hydrated

Repurchase? – Yes

Liz Earle Green Clay , Manuka Honey, Propolis and Rose Scented Geranium Face mask.  This claims to Purify and regulate oiliness. I found this stung my face a tiny bit but not enough to be uncomfortable. When it dried down & I removed it my skin was left so incredibly soft and smooth. I don’t suffer too much from oiliness at this time of year but in the summer my T-Zone can get quite problematic so I think I’ll revisit it then.

Johnson’s Face Care Make Up Be Gone Extra Sensitive Face wipes – I use this for cleaning make up of my hands when I’m doing my make up & for cleaning up swatches. I’m not a fan of wipes for the face anymore but find them great for this purpose.

Super Facialist by Una Brennan Vitamin C Brighten Skin Renew Cleansing Oil – When I got this first I hadn’t tried any other cleansing oils or balms. As such I thought it was great. It smells divine. But as I delved deeper into this world of cleansers I realised that there was much better out there. For example the Simple Cleansing oil is fantastic & the Clinique Take the Day off Balm is brilliant.

Bioderma Hydrabio H2O Moisturising Make Up Removing Micelle Solution – I much prefer the original version of this.

Repurchase? – No

Super Facialist by Una Brennan Neroli Firming Daily Brightening Cleanser: I found the smell of this quite stringent. It wasn’t as pleasant as the Rose version of this. This is more of a gel consistency which isn’t my favourite. I much prefer a cream cleanser.

Repurchase? – No

Garnier Skinactive Soothing Botanical Toner with Rose Water – I like this toner well enough. I prefer The No7 Gentle & Soothing Toner but this is a good substitute when I’m out of that one. I like it after doing a clay mask or in the morning after cleansing.
