Clinique Chubby Stick Sculpting Highlight – Review

I received this highlighter in 01 Hefty Highlight as part of buy two items get some freebies in Debenham’s. It was one I had been tempted to buy as I am getting in more cream products so when I saw the full size free I was delighted!

It is a light champagne colour, which, I am delighted to say, has no apparent glitter in it.

On first application, I put it on over foundation. I found it to be a bit stiff & moved my foundation a bit on my cheeks. My nose in particular looked shite! Moved all my foundation & my pores looked like Craters!

I tried it again the next day under my foundation, which is something I like to do with cream products, but again I wasn’t overly impressed. I’ve played around with it since then & I’m just not finding a way to get it to work for me.

I’ve tried applying it with dense brushes, finer detailed brushes, sponges & fingers. But still not getting the result I’d like. I’m not a bling to the god’s kinda girl so I’m not expecting that from this product.

I may re-visit this is the summer time when I typically wear less or lighter foundation’s and see how I get on. But as it stands at the moment I’m just not that impressed.

Have you tried this product? Do you like it? If so how do you make it work for you??I really like the colour & the lack of glitter so I’d really like it to work for me.

As I said I got this free when I bought the Take the day off balm & the bottom lash mascara, everything else you see here was Free 🙂
