Clinique Take The Day Off Balm – The hype is real!

I’ve wanted this for quite some time. It seems to be the darling of the blogging/Youtube world. I’ve often wondered can it really be as good as everyone says. I was in Debenham’s recently & Clinique were offering six freebies with two purchases (picture at the end of this post) so I though I’d be getting value for my money (it’s dear enough at €29) and bit the bullet.

It is a solid Balm that when you rub together in your hands turns into a more oily substance. I massage it in to my face, around my eyes and eyelashes. It slides on & doesn’t grab or stick to my skin.

And it.removes.Every.LAst.BIT!!!!!

The hype is real lads.

It doesn’t sting my eyes & removes all my waterproof mascara. I still go in with a second cleanse because of the oils but the odd time I was too lazy I didn’t notice any adverse effects.

I didn’t notice any scent. My skin doesn’t feel tight or irritated. It doesn’t feel like there’s any residue on my skin. It even looks better.

I’ve been using it for over 3 weeks now and it seems to be suiting my skin. I’ve had no break outs or irritation.

This really is a fantastic product & I can’t believe I’ve waited so long to try it.

These are the gifts that I got with purchase (except for the bottom lash mascara)

  1. I see this everywhere! It’s seeming more and more like I’ll have to try it. I’ll definitely wait until they have a nice GWP like this though 🙂 Thanks for posting!
