1st empties post of 2018! I’m hoping to do these more regular so they’re not as long but at the same time a bit more detailed.
Dr. Jart+Brightening Solution: This one took me a bit by surprise in that it was quite a thick white cream as opposed to the usual white gel I expect from sheet masks. I don’t know that I noticed anything very brightening but my skin did feel soft & moisturised.
Primark (Penney’s)Rejuvenating Brightening Pearl Sheet Mask: I absolutely love this mask. My skin always looks better after using it & feels gorgeous. Granted the results don’t last past a day but for that day I feel great. At €1.50 I just don’t see how you can go wrong!

Primark (Penney’s)Nourishing Plumping Vit E Sheet Mask: While this is lovely & relaxing on, I didn’t notice any “plumping” going on. I think I’ll stick with the Brightening one.
Repurchase? Maybe considering the price
Sephora Anti-Fatigue & Energizing Pomegranate Sheet Mask: I think I had built this up to mythical status due to lots of American you-tubers raving over it. It’s just a standard sheet mask. I may have looked a tiny bit “energised” but that could be down to me lying back and relaxing!
Vichy Quenching Mineral Mask: I really enjoy this mask. I’ve gone through three of these little pots now and I have one left. When my skin is feeling dehydrated (which is pretty often in the winter) I reach for this. My skin feels like its had a huge drink after using it!
No 7 Soft & Soothed Gentle Toner: I adore this toner. I use it every morning before I start putting on my skincare & make up. It does exactly what it says on the tin. It is a perfect gentle toner that settles my skin after washing. I can get quite red faced & my skin can be sensitive. I like to pick these up when No 7 have their money off vouchers.
Repurchase? Already have 2 on back up.
Bioderma Hydrabio H20 Micellar Water: I picked this up because I was curious about the “moisturising ” factors. I have to say I wasn’t overly impressed. It didn’t remove my makeup as good as the original. And my face felt like there was residue on it after using it. I definitely didn’t notice any moisturising.
Botanics All Bright Eye Make Up Remover: I didn’t like this. It left my eyes feeling greasy without removing my waterproof mascara, the whole reason for buying this.
Simple Cleansing Oil: This is fantastic! One of the best cleansing oils/balms that I have tried since I started using them in early 2017. It takes all my makeup off, even my waterproof mascara. It doesn’t sting my eyes at all which is brilliant. I absolutely love this!
Simple Eye MakeUp Remover: This isn’t bad at all. It removes the majority of my eye makeup. I do notice a little bit left when I wake up the following morning but not much. And it seems to be quite gentle on my lashes.
PS (Primark/Penney’s) Gentle Facial Cleansing Wipers “Sensitive”: I use these purely for cleaning make up off my hands. I wouldn’t go near my face with them, but it’s prefect for this purpose especially for €1.50.
