Project Pan 2018

So here we go. The start of my Project pan for 2018. This will be a seasonal, rolling project pan. The majority of the products are the oldest of my collection. Some are seasonal such as blush’s, lipsticks etc and will either be decluttered or used up by the end of the season as like I said they are on their last legs date wise.

I won’t be forcing myself to use products that I hate. I will as much as possible try to use a product for at least a month before I declutter but if I really detest using it or found it has in fact gone past it’s best by & isn’t performing I will get rid of it sooner.

What I’m hoping to do with this is to thin out my collection & find truly holy grail status products that I love using & make me feel good.

So, onto the products!

  1. I think that is a great idea getting rid of what you detest – not just in makeup but a good declutter also. I have in the past thought if it still fits, it isn’t that bad, I’ll use it up. But really life is short. Plus I think it makes us stop and make better purchases later.

    1. Absolutely. If something doesn’t make me happy or feel good it’s gotta go to a new home. And like you said I’ve gotten more choosey with my purchases, I’m a bit more conscious and less impulsive.

  2. I like this idea because I’ve got a lot of expensive purchases that were massive mistakes. The problem is that if I don’t love how a product looks/works on me, I just don’t feel like myself, if you get what I mean?

I’m always open to try new things, but I’m being a bit more choosy and trying not to be influenced by the ‘big’ beauty bloggers, i.e. that Hourglass ambient light powder they all raved about that makes me look like a shiny faced, yellow alien.

    1. I totally get what you mean. I’m not being strict with this in that if I’m not enjoying a product it’s gonna go!

I can’t believe that about the Ambient powder!!! It’s one I’ve always hankered after but I’m not so sure now.

There’s been many a product that influencers have oohed and aahed over that have looked complete shite on me. I may have finally learned my lesson ( until the next “it” product 😳)
