My Focus on using up products is going well as you will see from another lengthy post 🙂
No7 Oil Cleanser:
I really enjoyed this. It was the first oil cleanser that I have tried & it was a good one. It is so easy to massage into the skin & really budges all the makeup. It is a great first step in my cleansing routine. It doesn’t sting the skin at all. It can leave it a tiny bit tight but nothing I’d be worried about.
Garnier Micellar Cleasning Water:
A classic for a reason. It is between this & the Bioderma for me, I’m never without one or the other.
Repurchase: Already have.
No 7 Soft & Soothed Gentle Toner:
This is a lovely gentle toner as it says in the title. I love this in the morning time as part of my routine. I alternate between this & the Garnier Gentle Toner depending on whats on offer. I usually pick up the No 7 one when Boots are doing those money off coupons 🙂
Although a tad on the expensive side I do love this. I’ve tried other budget versions but none have compared to this.
Repurchase: Yes when I have the money.
Pixi by Petra Glow Mist:
This is gorgeous for the summer months. It really gives a gorgeous glow to the skin. But I wouldn’t be bothered with it for the winter months to be honest.
Repurchase : Yes but not till the summer.
I picked this up in either Aldi or Lidl I can never remember. It smelled quite spicy & I liked that but I wasn’t a huge fan of the moisturiser element.
Repurchase : No
Garnier Body Scrub:
This smells divine & scrubs nicely. This has been a firm favourite from the first day I purchased it.
This was handy. My hubby hates thick creams so he really loved this this summer.
Garnier Skin Active Moisture Bomb:
I just didn’t get this. I never felt like there was any going on my face & therefore wasn’t confident I was being protected. I felt like I was just spraying gas on my face :O
Repurchase : NO
I picked these up as part of their summer range. They are very fragrent & wouldn’t dream of putting them near my face! But they were perfect for cleaning up my hands etc when I’m putting on my make up.
Repurchase: Can’t, limited edition but wouldn’t anyway.
Ps…Love this Oval Cotton Pads:
I LOVE these, I always have back ups. I find them the prefect size, affordable & they never fall apart & leave fluff on my face like some others do.
Repurchase: Already have! Multiple packs.
Sephora Pearl Sleeping Mask, Perfecting & Brightening:
I have to say these last me about a week which I think is fantastic. They don’t perform miracles or anything but they are lovely on the skin, leaving it moisturised & happy. Perfect as a nighttime moisturiser.
Not a bad primer at all. What I usually expect from a primer is that is moisturising & brightening under foundation. This ticks both those box’s for me.
Repurchase: Maybe, once I’ve finished the 30million I currently own!
Bioderma BB Cream:
This is gorgeous in the summer time. Unfortunately as there is only one shade available in this it is too dark for me the rest of the year. Which is such a pity. It gives wonderful coverage & my skin looks great when I’m wearing it.
Repurchase: Yes , but next summer when I have a bit of a tan again.
Make Up Forever HD Loose Setting Powder:
This lasted forever! I thought I was never going to get to the end of it. Since originally purchasing this I’ve picked up other loose powders & I would have to say this is far from the best. There is definitely flash back with it. And it made my under eye feel & look very dry.
Repurchase : Nope
MAC Extended Play Mascara:
I love this mascara for the bottom lashes. I have been using a Wet N Wild one & while not bad I’m finding it doesn’t really compare to this one.
Repurchase: Unfortunately yes (unfortunately cause it pricey)
Catrice Illuminating Concealer:
The coverage on this was quite poor, it seemed to blend away to nothing on me.
Soap & Glory Brow Archery:
While I liked this at first , once I discovered the NYX brow pencil I realised it wasn’t as precise. It is also too dark for me.
So that’s it for another while. I really need to be more frequent with these so they’re not so long.
Have you used any of these products? What have you finished up recently?
