Max Factor doesn’t seem to get a lot of love in the Blogging world for some reason. I’m not sure if it’s maybe seen as an older brand but they really know what they are at especially when it comes to the basics.
Max Factor Creme Bronzer in 05 Light Gold. I chose this colour as it was heading into autumn & I wanted something that was light enough that I could wear throughout the winter & well into spring & I feel this shade matches that brief.
Max Factor Creme Puff Blush in Seductive Pink. I’ve had this blush in Gorgeous Berries, Lavish Mauve & Lovely Pink & have loved them all so decided to go for this colour for a change.
As I said at the start I picked this cause it is perfect for paler skins. It didn’t look even slightly orangey on the skin & just gave me a beautiful warmth to my skin.
It’s not overly pigmented which I prefer in bronzers as it means I can build it up to the desired effect, which is a gorgeous healthy “just in from the sun” look.
The Blush gives the skin a beautiful “just been out for a walk” flushed look to the cheeks. 1 swirl of the brush gives a nice subtle glow but 2 swirls gives a more intense colour if that’s what you desire.
In the pan it looks like there may be some shimmer but that doesn’t translate to the skin, it gives a gorgeous subtle sheen.
I wore the Blush & Bronzer for approximately 8 hrs & they lasted & didn’t get blotchy which is fanatastic.
I would highly recommended both of these products especially if you can pick them up when they are on 3 for 2 in Boots!
