Max Factor Masterpiece Nude Eyeshadow Palette – A Review

Max Factor is a brand that doesn’t seem to get much love in the blogoshere. I think maybe because it’s not available in America and that’s where a lot of today’s make up “Influencer’s” come from. But they have had a few product launches of late that have caught my eye. Their Creme Puff Blush’s were the first & I absolutely loved them so I decided to delve deeper and pick up this palette.

The other thing that had me reaching for this is that apparently Max Factor and Cover Girl are sister companies & all the American bloggers all rave about their nude eyeshadow palette’s. But aside from what I had seen or heard I was just really attracted to the colour selection in this Palette. I have Hazel Eyes & plums can really make them pop. There is a great selection of both matte’s shimmers.

As you can maybe see from the above picture, when I swatched them they were nearly too creamy! They were so soft they bunched up so you need to be careful with them when swatching not ruin them.

Now. You also need to be careful when going in with your brush, as they kick up A LOT of powder, but once you tap that off they are easy to blend and last all day. I really enjoyed this. The mattes were really pigmented and the shimmers were beautiful. I know some of the darker colours look a bit patchy from the swatches but I didn’t find this to be the case on the eye.

It is on the pricier end of the scale when it comes to drugstore at €19.99 but I got mine in Boots when it was on 3 for 2 and felt it was well worth the price.

How do you feel about Max Faxtor? Have you used much from the brand in recent years? Prior to these recent purchases my last purchase was when I was a teen & lived on Panstik!!!

  1. Wonderful review! The colours are really nice. Usually drugstore brand eyeshadows have powder that is much more loose than department brands. They are messy but they can have stronger pigment. I love Max Factor mascaras but other than that, I have not used much of the brand.

    1. Thanks so much 😊 I think the next time they are on 3for 2 I’ll try out the greeny coloured ones as I have nothing in my collection that shade range not have I seen anything from any other range . Cause I totally need more make up 😂😂

  2. I love your review, I’m looking for some new eye shadow palette myself and I was thinking about this one as well. I think those colours are wonderful, it’s great to know they are also long lasting and easy to blend! Amazing post!😊
